Dune Race, which takes place in April in Rannametsa village, Häädemeeste parish, Pärnu county, marks the beginning of the spring-summer season of Pärnu Two Bridges Sports Club. It is also the 1st event of the triple event series of Pärnu Two Bridges Sports Club. In 2024, we will move together on Sunday, April 21.
The 8.3-kilometer-long trail in the pine forest offers beautiful nature views and a moderate sports challenge. The distance running on mostly soft forest soil passes through the Luitemaa nature reserve, the dunes Torni and Tõotusemägi are the highest in Estonia. On a day full of exercise, there are activities for the whole family: running, (Nordic) walking (untimed and timed option), children’s races as well as canicross (5.4 km) and dog walking (8.3 km) to the delight of dog owners.
Between April 1 and 30, one can take part in the event virtually. This allows the participant to complete the distance at a favourable time, way and place.
