Pärnu Two Bridges Club Triple Event series
Guide 2024

1. Objective:
●      To offer the joy of movement for everyone – irrespective of age or athletic form.
●      To promote sportive lifestyle
●      To introduce different recreational routes in Pärnu and Pärnu County

2. Organizer
NGO Pärnu Two Bridges Sports Club together with sponsors.

3. Events
21.04.2024 Dune Race, distance 8.3 km (place: Rannametsa village, Häädemeeste parish)

01.09.2024 Jüri Jaanson’s Two Bridges Race, distance 10 km (place: Pärnu city, in front of Endla Theatre)
27.10.2024 Pärnu Beach Race, distance 10 km (place: Pärnu Beach Stadium)

4. Timing
An electronic timekeeping chip is attached to the back side of the bib. Please check it before the start! The number must be worn on the chest and be visible throughout the whole race. Only the contestants with the personal start number are allowed to participate. Please do not fold the number nor remove the chip. The chip deactivates automatically after finishing the race; no need to return it. Please do not cover the bib with your hand while finishing (e.g. for stopping running watch), otherwise the time might not get fixed.

6. Registration

It is possible to register to the Triple Event series at once or separately for every race. Triple Event registration is available until 29.02.2024. However, results for these three events will be summarized for everyone who have completed all the races no matter of the registration option.

7. Entry fees

All prices include VAT 22%. Entry fee is not refunded in case of cancellation.

7.1  Entry fee includes (all events):
●      race number (bib)
●      a chip (for timed distances only)
●      a medal
●      an electronic diploma with the personal time and place / participation diploma for untimed distance;
●      drink;
●      washing facilities;
●      service on track;
●      first aid;
●      luggage storage.

7.2 Special designed medal for finishers of the triple event series.

8. Re-registration
Re-registration is free of cost until February 29th, 2024, after that there is no re-registration. Upward price difference has to be covered by the participant, contrariwise there is no refund. For re-registration please send an email to info@2silda.ee.

9. (Nordic) Walking
There is a possibility to choose between timed and untimed distance. For the timed distance the time is registered based on the chip on bib. Contestants on untimed distance start after the contestants on timed distance.

10. Giving out start materials

10.1. Dune Race:
10.1. In the competition center in Pärnu Keskus 20.04.2024 at 11.00-15.00.
10.2. On the race day on site in Rannametsa at 09.00-12.45.

10.2. Jüri Jaanson’s Two Bridges Race:
10.2.1. In the competition center in Pärnu Keskus:
29.08 at 12.00-18.00
30.08 at 12.00-18.00
10.2.2. In the competition center in Endla Theatre:
31.08 at 16.00-21.00
1.09 at 10.00-11.45.

10.3. Pärnu Beach Race:
10.3.1. In the competition center in Pärnu Keskus  26.10 at 11.00-15.00.
10.3.2. On the race day on site at 10.00-12.45.

11. Results
Collected results of the Triple Event series will be taken from the finish protocols. There will be no collected results for (Nordic) walkers. The results can be checked with a scanner in the race center and are published in real time on the website of www.championchip.ee (timing service provider ChampionChip Eesti OÜ). The final results confirmed by the judges will be published on the website www.2silda.ee not later than November 12 at 17.00. In case of changes due to coronavirus, the organizer may change the terms, for example, take into account the participation in the virtual race.

12. Award ceremony
Award ceremony will take place on October 27th at Pärnu Beach Race, top three in general ranking and winners in each age category will be rewarded. Raffle prizes for the runners and walkers.

13. Photographing
The organizer has the right to use and publish all the photos and videos made by the organizer for marketing purposes.

14. Appeals
All appeals against results, violations etc. must be filed in 2 hours after the finish of the certain event has been closed. Appeal fee is 50 EUR which is refunded only if the appeal is satisfied. Appeals are handled by the jury that consists of the chief organizer, the head referee, and the head of secretariat. Other unforeseen cases are resolved by the Organizing Committee. Organisers reserve the right to change the terms listed in the guide, if the situation requires it.

15. General
15.1. Each participant is responsible for her/his health condition. Children under 10 years of age are allowed to participate on parental permission.
15.2. To participate in triple event series one can register to the events both separately and all at once.
15.3. Please follow the reminder for the participants that will be published on the website www.2silda.ee latest one week before a certain event.

16. Rights of the organizer
16.1. The organizer has the right to change the conditions set out in the instructions if the situation requires.
16.2. The organizer has the right to disqualify the participant in case he/she doesn’t follow the regulations of the event, disturbs other participants or prevents the event in any other way.
16.3. All protocols of the events organized by Two Bridges Sports Club are public documents. Both start and finish protocols will be published on the website of the Organizer and timekeeping service provider. The organizer is only responsible for the information on its official channels (webpage, Facebook, YouTube).

16.4. The organizer has the right to send to all registered participants a reminder before the event and a follow-up letter with the feedback questionnaire after the event. Corresponding newsletters are sent to the email entered to the registration form. Unsubscribing is not possible.
16.5. Your personal data will only be used for the purpose for which you have entrusted these data to us. Furthermore, no personal data will be passed on to third parties.
16.6. By registering and paying the registration fee, the participant agrees with the terms in this guide and confirms good health.
16.7. In the event of Force Majeure and other situations beyond the control of the Organizer, changes may be made to the program and service package. Force majeure means any unforeseen event of which the timing and manner cannot be controlled or prevented by the organizer (e.g. war, riot, strike, fire, flood, earthquake, (snow) storm, torrential rain, etc.).
16.7.1. Participants will be notified of any changes via email, the Club’s website and the Facebook page.
16.7.2. Due to force majeure, the participation fee will be refunded in accordance with each stage instructions and applicable law.
16.7.3. In the event of cancellation of the event due to force majeure, the organizer of the race will not reimburse the expenses incurred by the participants to third parties. We recommend foreign participants to buy travel insurance which also covers the costs incurred in the event of cancellation of the event.
