Marathon The Republic of Estonia 100

3. Time and Place
June 22nd 2018 Tori (start of marathon), Paikuse (start of half marathon), Pärnu (finish, children’s race).
4. The Race Centre, start, finish, track and service on track
4.1. The Race Centres are located in Tori, Paikuse and Pärnu city.
4.2. Start and finish: Start of marathon at 15.00 in Tori, start of half marathon at 16.45 in Paikuse. Finish area on Rüütli square in Pärnu. Finish of the race is closed 6 hours after the start of the marathon, i.e. at 21.00.
4.3. Track. Marked and regulated by judges; runs on asphalt side-roads and light traffic roads, Reiu-Raeküla forest landscape, streets of Pärnu City.
4.3.1. Participants must follow traffic regulations and signals from traffic controllers.
4.3.2. There are 12 service points (SP) on the marathone course and 6 service points on the half marathon course (see below) where sports drink, water and energy boosting foods are offered. First aid is assured.

4.3.3. First aid is availdable on the track. In case you see anyone in need, please inform a service point, medical workers on track, organizers or call on 112. First aid is provided by medical volunteers and Pärnu Ambulance.

An electronic timekeeping chip is attached to the back side of the bib. Please check it before the start! The number must be worn on chest and be visible throughout the whole race. Only the contestants with the personal start number are allowed to participate. Please do not fold the number nor remove the chip. The chip deactivates automatically after finishing the race; no need to return it. Please do not cover the bib with your hand while finishing (e.g. for stopping running watch), otherwise the time might not get fixed.

8. Registration and start fees
8.1. Registration alternatives
8.1.1. Pre-registration on the website www.2silda.ee until 19.06.2018 at 23.59.
8.1.2. Pre-registration in the information centre in Pärnu Keskus (Pärnu) until 19.06.2018 at 20.00.
8.1.3. On the Race day on site: in Tori at 13.00-14.45 and in Paikuse at 15.00-16.30.
8.2. Collectives, groups, sports clubs and -schools
Counting from 5 members there is a discount of -20%. Discount applies when all members of the team / sports club register at the same time. No double discounts (e.g. senior / youth discount plus group discount). No discount on 22.06.2018.
When registering groups from 10 people, please use the general registration form – in the beginning of registration one can choose the number of persons one would like to register. After that you can add the data of the participants. When pressing the button “apply data of participant nr 1 on all participants”, the same address, club / company will be applied on all. To pay with the invoice, please choose the relevant option and fill all the required fields. Invoice will be sent via email and after the payment all participants will be registered.

All prices include VAT 20%. Start fee will not be refunded in case of cancellation the registration. No discounts for seniors, youth and groups on the race day.

Can be done until June 19th at 23.59; the cost is 10 EUR. Upward price difference has to be covered by the participant, contrariwise there is no refund. Starting fee paid this year is not considered as prepayment for the next year’s race.
11. Transportation from finish to start. Parking conditions.
Provided by the organizer. One can book a place in a bus when registrating to the marathon / half marathon. A seat in the bus can be booked until June 15th (at 23.59). Requests after that will be considered only when free seats are available.

Please follow the parking regulations and signs in a certain area.
12. Giving out start materials.
12.1. In Tori (start of marathon) on 22.06.2018 at 13.00-14.45.
12.2. In Paikuse (start of half-marathon) 22.06.2018 at 15.00-16.30.
In case a participant decides to discontinue, (s)he must inform the closest serivce point. The organizer has the right to ask a participant to discontinue in case the participant won’t pass the service point before its closing time or won’t finish the marathon within 6 hours or has poor health condition.
The non-official results will be added to the information board in the race center in Pärnu as the race progresses and real time results are published on the website of ChampionChip Eesti OÜ www.championchip.ee The final results confirmed by the judges will be published on the Organizers website www.2silda.ee not later than June 27th at 17.00.
15. Washing facilities
On presentation of the bib in Sports Hall of Pärnu City Schools (Kuninga 29).
16. Award ceremony
Prizes are awarded to top three in general ranking (both in men’s and women’s ranking) as well as winners in each age group.
The organizer has the right to use and publish all the photos and videos made by the organizer for marketing purposes.
All appeals against results, violations etc. must be filed in two hours after the finish is closed at 21.00. Appeal fee is 50 EUR which is refunded only if the appeal is satisfied. Appeals are handled by the jury that consists of the chief organizer of the race, the head referee, and the head of secretariat. Other unforeseen cases are resolved by the Organizing Committee. Organisers reserve the right to change the terms listed in the guide, if the situation requires it.
19.1. Each participant is responsible for her/his health condition. A participant of marathon must be at least 18 years old healthy person. A participant of half marathon must be at least 15 years old healthy person.
19.2. Please follow the reminder for the participants that will be published on the website www.2silda.ee latest two weeks before of a certain event.
20. Rights of the organizer
20.1. The organizer has the rights to disqualify the participant in case he/she doesn’t follow the regulations of the event, disturbs other participants or prevents the event in any other way.
20.2. All protocols of the events organized by Two Bridges Sports Club are public documents. Start protocols will be published on the website of the Organizer and timekeeping service provider. Finishing protocols will be published on the website of the Organizer, timekeeping service provider and protocols of running distances in the newspaper Pärnu Postimees. The organizer is only responsible for the information on its official channels (webpage, Facebook, YouTube).
20.3. The organizer has the right to send to all registered participants a reminder before the event and, after the event, the follow-up letter with the feedback questionnaire. Corresponding newsletters are sent to the e-mail entered by the participant to the registration form. Unsubscribing is not possible.
20.4. Your personal data will only be used for the purpose for which you have entrusted these data to us. Furthermore, no personal data will be passed on to third parties.
20.5. Force Majeure (FM) – force of nature and other reasons beyond the control of the organizers may cause changes in the program. If the race is cancelled due to FM, the registration fee is not refunded!
20.6. By registering and paying the registration fee, the participant agrees with the terms in this guide and confirms good health.
