Due to the emergency situation established by the Estonian Government to prevent the spread of the virus, the marathon programme will have significant changes. The physical event will not take place, instead the event will take place virtually. The E-marathon programme has been extended and the following options added to the selection besides the classic e-marathon (21 and 42 km): e-marathon with a shirt and medal (21 and 42 km) and Pärnu Summer Race with a medal. All virtual races can be completed by running or (Nordic) walking.
Participants who have registered for this year’s event have the opportunity to re-register for the virtual race, use the entry fee as an advance payment for 2021 or ask for a refund. For additional information, please send an email to email@example.com.

3. Time and Place
June 22nd, 2020 Tori (start of marathon), Paikuse (start of half marathon), Pärnu (finish, children’s race).
4. The Race Centre, start, finish, track and service on track
4.1. The Race Centres are in Tori, Paikuse and Pärnu city.
4.2. Start and finish: Start of marathon at 15.00 in Tori, start of half marathon at 16.45 in Paikuse. Finish area on Liberty square in Pärnu. Finish of the race is closed 6 hours after the start of the marathon, i.e. at 21.00.
4.3. Track. Marked and regulated by judges; runs on asphalt side-roads and light traffic roads, Reiu-Raeküla forest landscape, streets of Pärnu City.
4.3.1. Participants must follow traffic regulations and signals from traffic controllers.
4.3.2. There are 12 refreshment stations (RS) on the marathon course and 6 refreshment stations on the half marathon course (see below) where sports drink, water and energy boosting foods are offered. First aid is assured.

4.3.3. First aid is available on the track. In case you see anyone in need, please inform a service point, medical workers on track, organizers or call on 112. First aid is provided by medical volunteers and Pärnu Ambulance.

An electronic timekeeping chip is attached to the back side of the bib. Please check it before the start! The number must be worn on chest and be visible throughout the whole race. Only the contestants with the personal start number are allowed to participate. Please do not fold the number nor remove the chip. The chip deactivates automatically after finishing the race; no need to return it. Please do not cover the bib with your hand while finishing (e.g. for stopping running watch), otherwise the time might not get fixed.

8. Registration and entry fees
8.1. Registration alternatives
8.1.1. Pre-registration on the website www.2silda.ee until 19.06.2020 at 23.59.
8.1.2. Pre-registration in the information centre in Pärnu Keskus until 19.06.2020 at 18.00.
8.1.3. On the Race day on site: in Tori at 13.00-14.45 and in Paikuse at 15.00-16.30.
8.2. Collectives, groups, sports clubs and -schools:
Counting from 5 members there is a discount of -15%. Discount applies when all members of the team / sports club register at the same time. No double discounts (e.g. senior / youth discount plus group discount). No group discount on 22.06.2020.
Please use the general registration form – in the beginning of registration one can choose the number of persons one would like to register. After that you can add the data of the participants. When pressing the button “apply data of participant nr 1 on all participants”, the same address, club / company will be applied on all. To pay with the invoice, please choose the relevant option and fill all the required fields. Invoice will be sent via email and after the payment all participants will be registered. No invoice is sent via email but the invoice has to be downloaded after completing the registration. Once the invoice has been paid, all participants will be registered.

11. Transportation from finish to start. Parking.
Free shuttle buses provided by the organizer depart in front of Pärnu hotel. A seat in the bus can be booked from June 1st until June 19th (at 23.59). Requests after that will be considered only when free seats are available. NB! No organised transportation after the race.

12. Giving out start materials.
12.1. In Tori (start of marathon) on 22.06.2020 at 13.00-14.45.

In case a participant decides to discontinue, (s)he must inform the closest refreshment station. The organizer has the right to ask a participant to discontinue in case the participant won’t pass the refreshment station before its closing time or won’t finish the marathon within 6 hours or has poor health condition.
The (non-official) results can be checked using a scanner in the competition center and will be published on the website of the Two Bridges Club on www.2silda. The final results confirmed by the judges will be published on the Organizers website www.2silda.ee not later than June 27th at 17.00. Finish protocol is a public document. Real time results are published on the website of the timing service provider ChampionChip Eesti OÜ www.championchip.ee.
15. Washing facilities
On presentation of the bib in Sports Hall of Pärnu City Schools (Kuninga 29).
16. Award ceremony
On both distances prizes are awarded to the top three in general ranking (both in men’s and women’s ranking) as well as winners in each age group.
The organizer has the right to use and publish all the photos and videos made by the organizer for the marketing purposes.
All appeals against results, violations etc. must be filed in 2 hours after the finish is closed at 21.00. Appeal fee is 50 EUR which is refunded only if the appeal is satisfied. Appeals are handled by the jury that consists of the chief organizer of the race, the head referee, and the head of secretariat. Other unforeseen cases are resolved by the Organizing Committee. Organisers reserve the right to change the terms listed in the guide, if the situation requires it.
19.1. Each participant is responsible for her/his health condition. A participant of the marathon must be at least 18 years old healthy person. A participant of the half marathon must be at least 15 years old healthy person.
19.2. Please follow the reminder for the participants that will be published on the website www.2silda.ee latest two weeks before the event.
20. Rights of the organizer
20.1. The organizer has the right to disqualify the participant in case he/she doesn’t follow the regulations of the event, disturbs other participants or prevents the event in any other way.
20.2. All protocols of the events organized by Two Bridges Sports Club are public documents. Start protocols will be published on the website of the Organizer and timekeeping service provider. Finish protocols will be published on the website of the Organizer, timekeeping service provider and protocols of running distances in the newspaper Pärnu Postimees. The organizer is only responsible for the information on its official channels (webpage, Facebook, YouTube).
20.3. The organizer has the right to send to all registered participants a reminder before the event and a follow-up letter with the feedback questionnaire after the event. Corresponding newsletters are sent to the email entered to the registration form. Unsubscribing is not possible.
20.4. Your personal data will only be used for the purpose for which you have entrusted these data to us. Furthermore, no personal data will be passed on to third parties.
20.5. Force Majeure (FM) – force of nature and other reasons beyond the control of the organizers may cause changes in the program. If the race is cancelled due to FM, the registration fee is not refunded!
20.6. By registering and paying the registration fee, the participant agrees with the terms in this guide and confirms good health.
